How far in advance should I reserve a site?
We suggest doing so at least 3 months in advance for the months of October through May. 6 months in advance for June-September.
What types and sizes of RVs are allowed?
RV’s staying at Angel Fire RV Resort must measure a minimum of 20’ in length. To name a few specifics, we welcome:
- Class A, B+ and C Mini Motorhomes (over 20’)
- Fifth Wheels (over 20’)
- Sleeper and Tour Buses
- Entertainment Coaches or Nightliners
- If you do not have a fifth wheel or motorhome, please call (855) 421-0308 to book.
What is the pet policy?
We’re happy to host your furry family members! In fact, we think they’ll love our resort (especially the Bark Park). We do require they not be left unattended at any time and must be leashed when outside of your RV for safety reasons. A $35 clean-up fee will be applied to your account if you fail to clean up after your pet. We also ask that there is no washing or drying of pet bedding is allowed in our laundry facilities. 4 pets per site maximum.
Do you sell propane onsite?
We do not, however, Tuesday and Thursday, Northern NM Gas Company will fill your 20# or 30# cylinders. Check with the front desk for more information.
When are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in any time after 1 pm. Check-out by 11 am. Feel free to call us if you’re running late or early, so we can adjust accordingly if possible.
How long can we stay?
Who likes to put a limit on good times? We have nightly, weekly and monthly rates, and no restrictions on the maximum length of stay.
So, is there a minimum length of stay?
There is a 3-night minimum for all site types for holiday weekends, a 2-night minimum for weekends, and no minimum during the week. Contact us if you want to double-check whether a minimum will apply during your intended travel dates.
Is there a restaurant or grocery store at the property?
Restaurants, grocery stores, shopping and many other attractions are conveniently located within 3.5 miles of the resort. Also, every Sunday in the Summer there is an Art + Farmers’ Market from 10am-2pm at Frontier Park.
Is there a pool onsite?
As a guest of Angel Fire RV Resort, you’ll receive access to the pool at the Country Club which is 4 miles away for a nominal fee.
Where is the RV Resort in relation to The Village?
The RV Resort is 3.5 miles from The Village, 4 miles from the Mountain and Country Club and 6 miles from Monte Verde Lake.
What if I arrive late or leave early?
We understand your plans may change, but we cannot refund for early checkout or late arrivals.
What is the smoking policy?
Angel Fire Resort is a non-smoking facility and smoking is not permitted in any building or within 30 feet of any building.
Is there a speed limit within the park?
For the safety of our guests, there is a 5 mile per hour speed limit while inside the RV Resort.
Can I shoot fireworks in the park?
Absolutely no fireworks or discharging of Firearms within the RV Resort. We are within the Angel Fire Village limits and both are prohibited.
Can I bring my Fire Ring or Charcoal Grill?
Propane grills and fire pits are permitted. Charcoal and wood-burning fire pits/grill are not allowed.
Do you allow Drones?
In the interest of the health, welfare and safety for our guests, employees, and property, Angel Fire Resort strictly prohibits the unauthorized use of drones and all other remote-controlled aircraft on its property. This prohibition includes but is not limited to, Aircraft launched off-site that travels anywhere on or above Resort property. Written application may be made to the Resort Marketing Department requesting an exception to this prohibition.
Do I need anything to hook-up to the Sewer Hose?
A rubber donut or threaded connector is required to connect to the Sewer Hose. If you need to purchase one, you can find supplies at Lowe’s Valley Market.
Can I use the Water Hose when its cold outside?
Yes, but if cold weather is forecast, please disconnect your hose from the hydrant allowing the hydrant to drain; a frozen/broken hydrant will result in a $250 back charge to your account for replacement.
